ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER CLASS
Today is Thursday. Tomorrow is Friday. I felt like complete crap, thoroughly feeling the passing of time, as I left the Box this evening. Another week has gone by. Even worse, another month has gone by.
For today's endurance session, athletes were paired in team of two. The workout consisted of 5 rounds of 3-minute AMRAP, which was made up of 3 High Box Jumps with 30-inch box, 6 Hand Release Push-ups, and 9 Air Squats. At the end of the first 3 minute interval, athlete one rests while athlete two picks up where athlete one left off. Athlete two exercises for the next 3 minutes. While athlete two rests at the end of the second 3 minute interval, athlete one resumes the workout, and so on. My team scored 50+2 today.

ATTENDED ANOTHER CLASS AT CROSSFIT NYC IN NOMAD, MANHATTAN
Today's conditioning session consisted of a 30-minute EMOM. In the first minute, the athlete completes five Touch and Go Power Cleans. In the second minute, the athlete completes eight Toe to Bars. In the third minute, the athlete completes twenty unbroken double unders. I scaled the double unders by performing thirty seconds of double under attempts. For the rest of the third minute, the athlete completes No Push-Up Burpees. And so on.
All in all, I was happy with my performance today.

I once met a guy who was moving to San Francisco to start his own business. My partner for strict press today is moving to San Francisco in the coming month.
Today's workout consisted of a warm up, a brief, 3-minute gymnastic session, the frog pose, a strength session, 4 sets of 8 strict presses, and a conditioning session, 8-minute AMRAP of Turkish get ups. I used a 16kg kettlebell, the recommended weight for male, for the warm up for the Turkish get up. The weight was too heavy. After the warm up, I exchanged the 16kg kettlebell for a 12kg kettlebell for the rest of the workout.

The focus of today's class were thrusters, inspired by 16.5. The main workout consisted of 15 to 12 to 9 to 6 to 3 thrusters and bar facing burpees. I used 75 pounds for the thrusters. I finished the workout in approximately 10 minutes.

Today's workout consisted of a warm up, which was composed of variations of cleans, snatches, and overhead squats, seven sets of one power snatch and one overhead squat with increasing weight, and seven sets of five push ups and five hang power snatches with a seventy-five time cap per set.

At the corner of 6th Avenue and 24th Street, three Brazilian tourists approached me asking for direction to Macy's. "Macy's is on 34th Street. Ten blocks this way." I pointed in the uptown direction. The three lost visitors, seemingly exhausted from walking all day, asked if there was a train station nearby. Since I was heading to the train station, I walked with the strangers to the 23rd Street F and M station. Subsequently, I directed the trio to take either the F or the M train uptown for one stop.

I was so embarrassed. The workout was a complete mess. Today's workout consisted of five sets of three strict presses and three rounds of fifty double unders and fifteen push presses with a seven minute time cap. The first half of the workout went okay. As for the second half of the workout, I do not believe I actually completed the specified reps for each of the exercise on any of the rounds. Half way through the workout, I had to lower the weight I was using for the push press. My partner helped me changing the plates. It was very embarrassing.

Something about today's class was rather exciting.
One of the shittiest parts about going about your life without your optical aids on at all time is that you are never sure when someone is, or is not, for that matter, making eye contact with you, and with that comes the awkwardness of not being sure to wether or not maintain eye contact, and the anxiety from worrying that the other person might think of you as an ass for not reciprocating the eye contact.

I ran to East River Park today. It was about a mile run. At the park, I practiced my double unders. I made progress today. I did multiple stand alone double unders. I might had even consecutively completed two double unders. I still need to work on getting that rhythm down. I practiced at the park for about a half hour. I ran back to my apartment at around 5:30 p.m., which was about another mile.

In addition, I had decided to invest in a jump rope. I am planning to practice double unders at the park this weekend.

I went to see another doctor today. Today's consultation was very similar to previous consultations. My gut is leaning toward the third doctor. I am going to use the next few days to think everything over. I am hoping to schedule an appointment for the surgery next week.

So, I concluded tonight that I do not enjoy Korean food. Well, tonight's food was not bad. Actually, it was quite delicious. I ordered a spicy, stir-fried squid with clear noodle dish. The spicy flavor reminded I greatly of Shin ramen. I guess what it is is that I do not enjoy most Korean food. I like a few dishes here and there. After dinner, my co-worker and I stopped by a nearby Red Mango, also located in Koreatown, for frozen yogurt.

After breakfast, I roamed through Chinatown in an effort to find a new apartment. I walked by the Golden Unicorn Restaurant. The Golden Unicorn Restaurant is a popular spot in Chinatown for dim sum. The crowded entrance suggested that the restaurant is having a busy morning. Amidst the crowd, a man walked pass me to meet a group of men waiting by the door. They excitedly greeted each other. A cloud of tremendous loneliness mercilessly rained over me.
